Minister inaugurates mega job mela

Minister for Finance and Civil Supplies Etala Rajender inaugurated a mega job mela organised by DRDA Employment Generation and Marketing Mission (EGMM) in Huzurabad on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, he called upon youth to utilise the opportunity and secure employment in private sector, which has 95 per cent openings when compared to the government sector with only five per cent job opportunities. Reiterating that the government was committed to providing one lakh jobs in the government sector, he said they had so far recruited for 27,000 posts in Singareni, Transco and Genco etc and added that they were taking all steps to recruit for the remaining posts as well. He called upon people to encourage children to join government schools to get quality education. DRDA Project Director Arunasri said they had provided employment to 1,263 persons in various companies in private sectors by conducting job melas through EGMM.
