‘Women, SC, ST, BC, MBC and minorities constitute 93% of population’

Telangana Rythu Sangham district secretary M. Gangadarappa called upon all progressive forces, intellectuals, educated, students, women and those who respecting democracy to make Telangana Forum for Democratic and Social Organisations (T-Mass Forum) Formation Day a frand success.

The four-day meet will begin in Hyderabad on July 4. After releasing meeting wall-posters, here on Sunday, he said that people with many aspirations and expectations achieved separate State taking part in agitations.

However, their aspirations were dashed with the feudal forces grabbing power in the new State.

Social justice to the oppressed sections remained as a dream and their woes were not yet addressed. Women, SC, ST, BC, MBC and minorities, who constituted 93% of the population were eagerly waiting for social justice.

In this background to achieve social justice the forum was formed with the initiative of different social, democratic and peoples’ organizations, he said.

Bhaskar and P. Venkatramulu president and secretary respectively of the Vyavasaya Karmika Sangham, CITU district president P. Venkatesh, secretary A. Ramesh Babu, vice-presidents M. Govardhan, Noorjahan and Shankar Goud, AIDWA district secretary Sabbani Latha and KVPS secretary J. Gangadhar were present.
