Language skills workshop for teachers at GITAM

Students of Classes 9, 10 to be trained in MS Office

The GITAM University, Hyderabad, on Monday launched a two-week free workshop for school teachers to enhance their English language skills. The workshop would continue till April 29. The programme for the first batch was inaugurated on Monday.

The workshop has designed on activity-based learning with exposure to multimedia language lab activities, role plays, group discussions, presentations, pair and team work etc.

About 30 teachers from various private and government schools are participating in the workshop. Second workshop will be organised within a short span of time. Interested teachers may register their names with the university authorities. The priority will be given on first-come first-served basis.

GITAM University IT Department will organise a two-week free training programme for students of Classes 9 and 10 from April 24 to May 6 from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon.

Training will be provided in MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point & Paint. Maximum registrations will be allowed for 120 students on first-come first-served basis. Interested can contact 08455-221398 / 201.
