Land allotted for Banjara, Adivasi Bhavans

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao announced in the Assembly on Thursday that the government would soon allot two acres of land for Banjara and Adivasi Bhavans in either Banjara Hills or Jubilee Hills. The announcement was made after MIM Floor Leader Akbaruddin Owaisi pointed out that ironically, there was no land for Banjaras, on whose name the area was known.
