KCR keen on developing Cheruvugattu temple

After Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy Temple, Yadagirigutta, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is concentrating on the development of Sri Parvathi Jedala Ramalingaheshwar Swamy Temple, Cheruvugattu, in Nalgonda district. The temple is located 15 km from the district headquarters.

The Chief Minister has reportedly directed the officials in the district administration to visit the temple to study the scope for its development and facilities needed on the premises of temple.

Mr. Rao, on his way to Bhadrachalam to attend the celestial wedding of Lord Rama on the auspicious Sri Ramanavami, stopped for an hour on Friday afternoon at Energy Minister G. Jagadishwar Reddy’s residence in Suryapet.

The Chief Minister interacted with party leaders and officials from the district administration at the Minister’s residence. Sources further said that Mr. Rao would also visit Cheruvugattu temple very soon.

Mr. Rao opined that the Shaivite temple has great potential for development since it is located very close to district headquarters.
