Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao visited Korutlapet village of Yellareddypet mandal along with his wife, Shoba, to attend a private function of his close relative.

The Chief Minister arrived by helicopter at around 12.25 pm and went to meet his relative to attend the first death anniversary of his brother, Gandra Ranga Rao, and pay floral tributes to the portrait. After spending about 25 minutes, he returned to Hyderabad .

Minister for Finance Etala Rajender, chief whip Koppula Eshwar, ZP chairperson Tula Uma, Karimnagar MP B. Vinod Kumar, Peddapalli MP Balka Kumar, MLCs Naradasu Laxman Rao and T, Bhanu Prasad Rao, Karimnagar legislator G. Kamalakar, Karimnagar Municipal Commissioner Krishna Bhaskar, and Sircilla RDO Biksha Naik, among others, were also present.

Police made unprecedented security arrangements by deploying additional police forces. Karimnagar in-charge DIG Malla Reddy and OSD L. Subbarayudu supervised the security arrangements.
