Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari slammed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu charging him with denying Telangana its due share of power from the Lower Sileru Hydroelectric Project and Krishnapatnam Thermal Power Station in contradictory to AP Reorganisation Act, 2014.

“Mr. Naidu tried to stall the formation of Telangana State in the past and now acting against the interests of the new State of Telangana,” Mr. Srihari alleged at a a meeting held here on Friday.

The meeting was convened to mobilise support for TRS candidate Palla Rajeswara Reddy for the Legislative council election from Nalgonda-Khammam-Warangal Graduates Constituency.

A commotion prevailed before the start of the meeting when activists owing allegiance to a senior TRS leader entered into a heated debate with another leader for allegedly denying seat to their leader on the dais.
