The jails department has been getting ready to establish petrol bunks in the district adjacent to all the important highways. The land owners interested to lease out or sell their lands can contact the department. The department was also interested in opening the closed petrol bunks, according to district jail officer Santosh Kumar Roy. He said that the department had been running 14 petrol bunks and was planning to increase the number to 100.
