Indian team’s exit disappoints enthusiasts

The defeat of Indian team at the World Cup semi final on Thursday deeply disappointed people who were following the match. The turnout at schools, colleges and offices was very low as many preferred to take leave for the day only to watch the world cup semi finals between India and Australia. In colonies, people gathered in groups and watched the match all through and planned for celebrations. In Srinagar colony, Hanamkonda one cricket enthusiast M Santosh said all their colony friends and relatives gathered at their residence.

‘We had planned huge celebrations for final. But we are disappointed with the exit of Indian team at semi-final stage, Santosh lamented. According to him, they were raising funds “ we fixed amount for every sixer and wicket of Indian team members which would be spent for charity.
