Heavy rain lashed several parts of Medak district on Wednesday evening. The clouds were so dark that the drivers were forced to switch on the headlights while driving vehicles. Several places reported hailstorm as well.
According to reports, Narayankhed, Kangti and surrounding areas witnessed hailstorm and heavy gales resulting in disruption of power supply at several places. Andol, Sangareddy, Medak Narsapur and parts of Gajwel areas also witnessed heavy rains.
Power supply was also disrupted in the district headquarters.
Low laying areas were inundated.
