Harish reviews arrangements

Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao reviewed the arrangements for the scheduled visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Komatibanda on August 7.

Accompanied by Deputy Speaker M. Padma Devender Reddy and other leaders, Mr. Rao said about 2 lakh people would attend the public meeting to be addressed by the Prime Minister, and officials were asked to prepare village-wise list by Friday evening.

About 3,000 buses would be roped in to ferry the public to the meeting, and around 2,300 RTC buses and another 700 buses would be provided by transport officials. All the buses would be sent to the village by Saturday night itself, he added.

Collector D. Ronald Rose, Joint Collector Venkatram Reddy, and MLAs Ramalinga Reddy, Madan Reddy, Babumohan and Chinta Prabhakar, among others, were also present.
