Expressing concern over the poor administration by the TRS government in the State, BJP senior leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy has said that the State government should own responsibility for the leakage of Eamcet-2 paper and playing with the lives of innocent student community.
Mr Janardhan Reddy was in Karimnagar on Friday to participate in the party general body meeting convened to gear up for the proposed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s meeting with party leaders in Hyderabad on August 7.
Talking to newsmen, he found fault with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for remaining silent over the Eamcet-2 leakage issue when the parents and students were worried about their career. He also suspected the role of big leaders of the government in the leakage of Eamcet-2 paper. “Otherwise, how is it possible for the leakage of the paper,” he asked.
Flaying the State government for failing to fulfil its promises made during the elections, he charged that there were large-scale irregularities in the execution of Mission Kakatiya and Mission Bhagiratha programmes and siphoning of public money. He alleged that the government had escalated the cost of irrigation projects in the name of redesigning and reengineering.
‘Contractors benefiting’
He alleged that the government was ready to provide huge amount to the contractors of various projects by escalating the costs, but was not ready to provide suitable compensation and double-bed room houses to the project oustees.
Seeks jobs for oustees
He reminded that the Chief Minister promised to provide government employment to the project oustees of Mallannasagar project, but in vain.
He said that the TRS Ministers do not have any guts and powers to rule except for Chief Minister’s son K Taraka Rama Rao.
The movement against the State government had begun with the Mallannasagar and it would continue till the removal of TRS government in the State, he pointed out and predicted that the BJP would attain power in the Telangana State in 2019 elections. BJP State leader G Ramakrishna Reddy, district president K Srinivas Reddy, former president M Arjun Rao and others were also present.
