Galaxy of writers, poets attend literary event

A galaxy of writers, poets and experts have attended the literary meet on theme of "Language, Poetry and Literary Criticism of Nalgonda district" here on Sunday morning.

The literary meet was organised by Jaya Mithra, a renowned literary and cultural forum.

Noted film director B. Narasing Rao, Pathipaka Mohan (National Book Trust of India), Mamidi Harikrishna, Nomula Satyanarayana and others delivered lectures.

The morning session was presided by Venu Sankoju, noted poet from Nalgonda.

Belli Yadaiah, Sunkireddy Narayana Reddy, S Raghu and many writers and poets took part in the afternoon session.

Special attraction

Oggukatha, Yakshaganam and Runja performances were special attraction of the event which enthralled the audience.

The day-long literary meet was organised at the Lions Bhavan in the town.
