Errabelli dares TRS to face polls

KCR should ask MLAs, who shifted their loyalties to his party, to contest elections and win

May 26, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:58 am IST - SANGAREDDY:

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) senior leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao dared Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president and Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao to face the elections and seek public mandate in the case of four party legislators, who shifted loyalty.

Participating in the ‘Mini Mahanadu’ held at the district headquarters on Monday along with party president L. Ramana and district unit president Sashikala Yadava Reddy, he said that TRS should direct the MLAs joined from TDP to resign their posts and contest elections at the earliest.

“Mr. Chandrsekhar Rao offered positions to those who are traitors of Telangana. In the next six months, the people of Telangana will show the right place to the ruling party. People are ready to teach a lesson to TRS when they get the opportunity,” he said, adding that the Chief Minister fears TDP.

“Mission Kakatiya has turned into ‘Commission Kakatiya’. Taking MLAs from other parties is nothing, but political prostitution. The government never responded when farmers committed suicides whereas the Andhra Pradesh government extended Rs. 5 lakh compensation,” Mr. Ramana said, adding that the family of KCR has to face similar cases like just the family of late Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.

Another leader E. Peddi Reddy said that same parties coming to power in both the States would be advantageous to address the problems being faced in Telangana.
