May 07, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:56 am IST - KAKINADA:

The indefinite strike by APSRTC employees notwithstanding, there will be no relaxation in the one-minute rule for APEAMCET-2015, scheduled for May 8.

Latecomers will not be allowed into examination halls, while candidates will be permitted to enter halls one hour before the commencement of the test. Over 2.55 lakh candidates are expected to take the test, which will be held at 22 regional centres in Andhra Pradesh and three in Hyderabad. APEAMCET-2015 Chairman V.V.S. Kumar and Convenor Ch. Saibabu on Wednesday said the government would make arrangements to provide transportation to all applicants. “The government is planning to hire vehicles belonging to private educational institutions and recruit qualified drivers on short-term basis. From our side, we are on the job of providing information, including the strength of each test centre and the localities from where the students need to reach the centres,” they added.
