‘Don’t put pressure on children’

May 16, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 07:10 am IST - NIZAMABAD:

The EAMCET was conducted peacefully at 20 examination centres here on Sunday. For the engineering stream held in the morning, out of 7,371 candidates who applied for the test, 95.70 per cent students – or 7,055 – wrote the exam. Out of 3,967 students who applied for the medical stream test, 3,717 wrote the exam, said official sources.

Collector Yogitha Rana personally inspected the conduct of the test at the Government Polytechnic College for Boys, and enquired about the engineering paper with the students. She wished them all the best.

Interacting with parents who were waiting for their children, she advised them not to put pressure on the latter. The Collector also told the parents to leave the choice of course selection to their children.
