Leaders of the Brahmin community urged the members to contribute generously towards the educational fund to aid underprivileged students in their academics.

Prof M.V. Ranga Rao, V. Viswanatha Rao, and TSPSC members T. Vivek and Chakilam Sudhakar, among others, asked the members to attend the regular meetings and support the economically poor students. At the meeting of Sri Lalitha Gayatri Brahmana Seva Sahakara Sangham held at Sri Sai Baba temple in Hanamkonda on Sunday, Rs. 2 lakh was distributed among 50 SSC to PG students. This was the third year that the sangham has been giving scholarships to underprivileged students. The money was mobilised through donations from the members. For contributions and further details, contact Valluri Pavan Kumar on 92468-12727 and Prof. Rao on 93901-00822, a press release stated.
