Collector asks officials to submit plans for the celebrations

The District Collector has directed the mandal-level officers and Joint Action Committees to submit their plans for the State Formation Day celebrations.

Collector Vakati Karuna said Warangal district being an important place in Telangana Sate, people expect grand celebrations and hence there should be a proper plan. The State Formation Day celebrations would begin from midnight of June 1. All the officers, NGOs and JACs should submit their plans by June 28.

The district administration plans to conduct Swachh Bharat on June 5 and all divisional level officers should observe it on grand scale.

Floral tributes

One June 2, the national flag should be unfurled between 7a.m. and 8 a.m. at all offices and by 8 a.m., people should gather at Telangana Martyrs Memorial and pay floral tributes to those who died fighting for Telangana cause. All employees should come in a rally. The Keerti Thoranams, the symbol of

Kakatiya kingdom at all four corners of the district borders should be lighted up and in towns, all public places and important buildings should be lit up. On June 6 and 7, all the departments should plan for competitions and medical camps. A massive rally should be planned on June 7.
