March 02, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 10:29 am IST

With reference to the story ‘MCI, APMC crack the whip against erring doctors’ published in the city edition of these columns on Feb.12, Morpheus Life Sciences Private Ltd (Mumbai) has clarified that it was not involved in the case of alleged medical negligence where a patient had died under the care of two doctors, later removed from the IMR for a period of one year. The medical centre has stated that the patient was not registered with it and action taken against the two doctors was in their professional and personal capacity and not against the institute.
