Civil engineering has a high potential in the job market, and those who add value to their courses would be in great demand, said chief engineer of the Indian Railways A. Sai Baba. He told students at a two-day symposium at KITS here on Friday, He said students of civil engineering had many opportunities and could diversify into architecture and geo engineering among others.

“One can sell anything anywhere provided he or she has got basic communication skills. When we are able to tell what we are and what we do, others will come to know and patronise,” he said.

About 500 students of civil engineering from various colleges are taking part in the event. – Special Correspondent
