A three-member Central team visited various villages in Pochampally, Bibinagar and Bhongir mandals to assess the crop loss due to the untimely rains that lashed the district in April and May this year.

Speaking on the occasion, the Directorate of Oilseeds Development Director S.M. Kolhatkar said they interacted with the farmers at Sivareddy Gudem, Revanapally, Jampally, Anjanapuram and other villages in these three mandals to asses the loss.

Later, the team saw a photo exhibition that was arranged by the district administration to explain the visiting officials about the intensity of damage caused by the unseasonal rains.
