The Bharatiya Janata Party will identify issues at village and mandal level and launch series of protests as part of its campaign for the next Assembly elections, said its State president K. Laxman.

Addressing the party cadre on second day of State Executive meeting here on Sunday, he said people of Telangana were ditched by the TRS that made tall promises on irrigation water, jobs and welfare. But it was now engaged in making money and appeasing a section of society to retain its power in the State.

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, who had demanded for official celebrations of Telangana liberation on September 17, now praises Nizam only to please Muslim community and his political friends MIM. Much against the sentiments of the BCs, the State Government wants to give reservation basing on the religion.

“We expected that Mr. KCR will continue the spirit of Kakatiya rulers who dug up several tanks and ensured irrigation water. But, he is following Nizam rulers who did little for the people,” Mr. Laxman opined.

The Chief Minister, who had announced in the Assembly that there were over one lakh vacancies, failed to give jobs to youth. The TSPSC became inefficient and youth were duped.

The Chief Minister lost control over administration, leading to scandals and corruption ruling the roost in the State. Hyderabad has acquired a name for all notorious things such as land scandal, drug scandal and what not.

Mr. Laxman called upon the party workers to highlight the achievements, bold and strong decisions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The party workers should also tell people how the TRS Government miserably failed in delivering its promises.

Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya and other senior leaders were present.
