‘Awareness on consumers rights vital’

Confederation of all Telangana Consumers Associations (CATCO) president N Srinivas has said that ‘Bangaru Telangana’ would be achieved only if the government checks corruption and cheating in the society.

Launching the consumer club at Vidyalatha Commerce Degree College here on Tuesday, he said that students should know about consumers rights and Right to Information Act to check corruption in the society. Lok Satta district president Prakash Holla informed the people to collect the bills for making any purchases in the market. Karimnagar consumers council president R Chandraprabhakar, Consumer information centre convenor V Laxman Kumar, college correspondent Ilaiah, principal Pawan Kumar were also present.
