Auto driver deis of dehydration in Adilabad

One person died of sunstroke in Adilabad District on Sunday while an unconfirmed report from Bejjur mandal said another person succumbed to severe dehydration. Gaikwad Gangaram, an auto driver died at the RIMS Hospital in Adilabad after being admitted last night complaining of dehydration.

The deceased, belonging to Mannur in Gudihatnoor mandal, had returned after dropping a passenger in his auto at Chandrapur in Maharashtra the previous day. He was taken to hospital after he developed the symptoms of dehydration.

Meanwhile, the day temperature subsided a little as the maximum recorded was about 43 degree Celsius on Sunday. There was however, hardly any respite for people at large owing to the hot breeze coming in fom the North-west.
