Amit Shah to visit Hyderabad on January 7

Strategies to strengthen and promote BJP in Telangana will be worked out at a day-long session of the party to be chaired by its national president, Amit Shah, here on January 8. Mr. Shah is arriving in Hyderabad on January 7 evening and the next day at 11 a.m. he will hold a meeting with party’s State office-bearers, district presidents, secretaries, legislators – past and present.

Mr. Shah will seek suggestions of the party workers and also share his views on strengthening the party base in Telangana. He will also give guidance on the online membership drive to be launched from January 12, said BJP Telangana president G. Kishan Reddy.

He told presspersons here on Saturday that the online membership drive named ‘Sabhyata Sankranti’ and ‘Swatch Bharat’ programme would be given thrust during the coming festival season.
