Adilabad Joint Collector K. Krishna Reddy, Utnoor RDO Vidyasagar and two others had a providential escape on Thursday when their vehicle met with a road accident.

The accident took place when a speeding lorry hit the JC's vehicle from behind near Argul village about 7 km from Armoor town in Nizamabad district.

After being hit by the lorry, the rented vehicle being used by Mr. Krishna Reddy as official transport hit an RTC bus which was in front of it. Though noone was hurt, the vehicle was damaged considerably.

The officials had started early for Hyderabad to attend the conference with Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. The JC and RDO left for Hyderabad in another vehicle.
