50 Students taken ill

About 50 students of Kasturbha Gandhi Balikala Vidyalam at Darpally mandal headquarters fell sick after swallowing iron tablets supplied by the Government on Thursday night and were immediately admitted to the local Primary Health Centre. They were admitted to the hospital with the complaint of gastroenteritis and discharged after treatment on Friday afternoon, according to District Medical and Health Officer Dr. Govind Wagmare. He said enquiry has been ordered into the incident.
