41 migrant labourers sent back to Odisha

The Karimnagar Labour Department has sent back 41 migrant labourers from Odisha, who were working in JTR brick kiln in Pothkapalli village of Odela mandal, to their native state from the Pothkapalli Railway Station on Friday. Deputy Labour Commissioner A. Gandhi said that they had received a complaint from Bolangir Labour Department of Odisha to send back all the 41 migrant labourers working in the kiln as they did not want to work there.

These migrant labourers had worked in the kiln for two months.

The Labour Department purchased railway tickets and made arrangements for food supply and sent them back to Odisha.
