11 hurt in mishap involving Rajaiah’s convoy vehicle

A vehicle in Deputy Chief Minister T. Rajaiah’s convoy hit three other vehicles, injuring eleven persons near Yaswantapur here on Sunday.

According to information reaching here, the Deputy Chief Minister was proceeding to Warangal town when the tyre of a vehicle in his convoy went flat. Suddenly the vehicle swerved aside, hitting three vehicles - a bike, car and an auto rickshaw coming in the opposite direction before coming to a halt.

Six constables in the vehicle, one motor-cyclist, a woman travelling in the auto-rickshaw and driver of the car sustained severe injuries. They were all shifted to the area hospital.
