In a rivalry over lending of money to flower vendors

at Tallakulam, a family

of three launched a murderous attack on a woman on Saturday. Police said that the woman, K. Arumugam of Mela Anuppanadi, was questioned by Dharmar, his wife Anandi and his

son Kannan for lending money to the flower vendors near Sri Prasanna Venkatachalapathy Temple. They claimed that she could not do the business at Tallakulam area where they were already doing it.

After a wordy altercation, the son stabbed the

woman while his parents held her tightly.

Tallakulam police are on the lookout for the three.
