Welfare aid given

Collector Sajjansingh R. Chavan distributed welfare assistance to the tune of Rs. 5.30-lakh during the weekly grievance day meeting at the Collectorate on Monday. An appointment order as record clerk was given to A. Suja on compassionate grounds. Besides these, he also gave away sewing machines to three beneficiaries through Adi Dravidar and Tribals Welfare Department, Rs. 20,000 was given to K. Raghupathy, writer as second instalment, as he was selected under the Art and Literature Development Authorities for the year 2012-13.
