We will secure an emphatic victory in elections: Karunanidhi

April 13, 2011 12:29 am | Updated 12:29 am IST - CHENNAI:

Chief Minister and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam president M. Karunanidhi on Tuesday called upon people of the State to ponder over whether their vote would result in greater good of society.

Every voter should examine about the credibility of those whom he or she wanted to elect.

Any indiscriminate way of casting vote would not do good for the State, he told reporters.

He expressed the confidence that his party would secure an emphatic victory in the Assembly election.

To a question, he replied that his party had not indulged in personal attacks on leaders of the rival camp. In a statement, he appealed to voters of the State for casting their franchise in favour of his party and allies.
