Students learned all about light at a workshop conducted at the District Science Centre.

The centre organised the workshop for school students in line with the International Year of Light.

During the sessions, speakers discussed the various sources of light and traced light energy through the ages, including the bulb and the present day LED, he said.

A demonstration was also conducted for the students.
