Welfare schemes implemented by the DMK government in Tamil Nadu are a reflection of the good relationship between the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance government at the Centre and the State, according to G.K. Vasan, Union Minister of Shipping.

Canvassing votes for Congress candidate for Vellore Assembly constituency C. Gnanasekaran at Ramanaickenpalayam here on Thursday night, Mr. Vasan said that the UPA government had been supporting all good schemes implemented by the DMK regime.

People should, therefore, vote for the DMK-led Democratic Progressive Alliance, in which the Congress is a partner.
