“Utilise service centres”

Public service centres, run by Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation at Ariyalur, Senthurai and Jayamkondam taluk offices in the district, issue patta and chitta copies, income, community, nativity and deserted woman certificates.

People can apply for various benefits under government schemes in these centres. People can pay electricity bill and LIC premium at these centres.

Copies of Aadhaar card can be taken, said E.Saravanavelraj, Collector who inspected these centres, recently.

At the e-common service centre at Ariyalur taluk office, 403 petitions were received. Certificates were given to 230 persons.

At Udayarpalayam e-common service centre, 466 petitions were received and certificates were issued to 203 petitioners.

At Senthurai centre, 171 petitions were received and certificates were issued to 100 petitioners.

From February 24 to March 23, 1040 petitions were received and certificates were issued to 533 petitioners.

Petitions of 507 persons were under process. Fee of Rs. 17,700 was collected at Ariyalur centre, Rs. 22,650 at Udayarpalayam centre and Rs. 7800 at Senthurai centre. Total fee collected was Rs. 48,150.
