Two killed in separate road accidents

Two persons, including a polytechnic college student, were killed in two different accidents in Kanniyakumari district on Friday.

According to police, S. Miracle John Deniel, a third year Mechanical Engineering student of a private polytechnic college in Chunkankadai, was returning home on a bike on Water Tank Road after dropping his brother Jino at his office. When he was negotiating a bend, he lost control, and was thrown off the bike.

A grievously injured Miracle John Daniel was rushed to a nearby private hospital, where the doctors pronounced him brought dead.

Nagercoil Traffic Investigation Wing police have registered a case. The body was handed over to the parents after the post-mortem conducted at Kanniyakumari Government Medical College Hospital (KGMCH).

Another accident

In another accident, Thiruvazhmarban (56) of Azhagiyapandiyapuram near Boothapandi was returning home from Aralvoimozhi on a bike, when he skidded off the road on the outskirts of Aralvoimozhi. He was rushed to the KGMCH, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Aralvoimozhi police have registered a case.
