Training programme

A free training programme on ‘Integrated nutrient management in paddy, maize, cumbu, ragi, and minor millets cultivation’ will be held at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra on the Veterinary College and Research Institute premises on September 27.

A press release from N. Akila, Senior Scientist and Head of the Kendra, said that the training will focus on taking samples of soil and water, and testing it, technologies that can be used for cultivation of these crops, integrated nutrient management and fertilizer management.

Demonstration too will be held on taking soil samples, and testing it.

Those interested should register their names before September 26 either in person at the Kendra or over phone: 04286-266345 and 266650, the release added.
