Training programme

A free training programme on ‘Groundnut and castor cultivation techniques’ will be held at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Veterinary College and Research Institute on August 8.

A press release from N. Akila, Senior Scientist and Head, KVK, said that the training will focus on the importance of groundnut, solid testing, selecting quality seeds, producing seeds, planting of seeds and space management, fertilizer management, use of pesticides, drip irrigation, cultivation methods, storing of the groundnut and also use of the plant as fodder.
