Tiruchi Corporation website hacked

The official website of the Tiruchi Corporation was found hacked and defaced on Saturday by hackers who put up pro-Pakistan slogans and a statement demanding freedom for Kashmir on the home page. The group, calling itself ‘Alone Injector,’ defaced the website saying: “Do you know why you got hacked? Free Kashmir… freedom is our goal.”

Reacting quickly, the Corporation authorities swung into action to restore the website. “Our technical staff reported that the website was down on Saturday morning but the problem was rectified quickly. We have forwarded a report to the City Police Commissioner,” Corporation Special Officer-cum-Commissioner N. Ravichandran said.

Police Commissioner A. Arun told The Hindu “we are registering a case and trying to trace the IP address.
