Police have arrested three persons for stealing motorbikes in Arakkonam and Kaveripakkam areas.
Following complaints of two-wheeler thefts in areas falling under Arakkonam Town and Taluk police stations and Kaveripakkam in the last few days, the police had stepped up monitoring activities.
They picked up three persons – Panneerselvam (29) and Vinothkumar (23) of Vedal village, Arakkonam Taluk and Arumugam (29) of Arunthathipalayam, Vedanthangal village, Arakkonam taluk – on suspicion.
During enquiry, the police found that the trio had stolen nine motorbikes from the areas. The police
