The technical, software engineering skills of Indians is tremendous and that is a reason for several multi-national companies in the U.S. to recruit technical graduates from India, said Philip A. Min, the U.S. Consulate General, Chennai.
Addressing students of Paavai Engineering College near here on a workshop titled “US – India relationship and educational ties” recently, Mr. Philip Min said that the ratio of the U.S.-India relationship with regard to higher education has drastically grown up from the bottom line over the past five years.
He commended the activities of the Microsoft Innovation Centre of the Paavai Institutions. Following the keynote address there was student interaction, wherein he answered the queries posted by the students.
He explained the flexibility in the educational pattern.
He said collaboration and exposure are the main differences between Indian system of education and the U.S. system of Education.
Mr. Philip Min urged the youths aspiring for higher education in the U.S. to get adapted to climatic changes and select institutions and colleges as per their life style.
