Students join medical college

All the 85 candidates — 42 boys, and 43 girls — who were allotted Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College here under the State Government quota, have joined the college.

They were selected during the Tamil Nadu Medical Admission 2015 counselling conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education at Chennai from June 19 — 25. They were asked to join the colleges on or before July 2.

According to N. Mohan, Dean of the college, the students have completed all the admission procedures. The Union Government quota of 15 candidates is yet to be allotted.
