Special cells have been formed in each of the 6 districts coming within the jurisdiction of the Inspector General of Police (North Zone).
A press note from C.Sylendra Babu, IG of Police, North Zone, said a separate cell had been formed at the headquarters in St. Thomas Mount and people who wish to lodge complaints can call 2231 4232. Following are the numbers of the cells in the districts: Kancheepuram - 98409 62359 and 94454 65410; Tiruvallur: 98403 74440 and 94454 65750; Villupuram: 96000 49749 and 94454 90088; Cuddalore: 94443 84633 and 94454 90307; Vellore: 94432 69534 and 94430 11499 and Tiruvannamalai: 94429 75925 and 94434 66678.
