Shankar murder case verdict on Dec. 12

A Tirupur court will pronounce its verdict in the Dalit youth V. Shankar murder case on December 12.

Principal District Judge Alamelu Nataraj said that the court would deliver its verdict on the day.

Shankar was hacked to death on March 13, 2016 allegedly by his wife Kausalya’s relatives in broad daylight in Udumalpet. The Udumalpet Police had registered a case in this connection and arrested Kausalya’s father Chinnasamy, mother Annalakshmi, uncle Pandithurai and a few others.
