Rodent menace: HC directive sought

The issue of rodent menace in government hospitals has virtually come to the Madras High Court’s doorsteps for a solution.

The First Bench consisting of the Chief Justice M.Y.Eqbal and Justice A.Arumughaswamy has posted the case for further hearing after four weeks.

In the petition, filed through counsel, R.Y.George Williams, the petitioner, C.Sadayan of Perambur, here referring to press reports about the disfigurement caused to the cheek of a dead baby girl at the Government Kasturba Gandhi maternity hospital at Triplicane here, said that the incident was a pathetic one.

The incident has frightened the public.
