Corruption has been institutionalised in Tamil Nadu by AIADMK andthe DMK. Both parties try to woo voters with sops. What people need is not sops but jobs for a decent livelihood, good quality education and health care. But both parties have not addressed these basic issues in their manifestoes, said Prakash Karat, CPI(M) Politburo Member.
Campaigning for CPI(M) candidate A. Lazar here on Friday, he said that sops will not change their livelihood. Farmers want better price for their produce, youth want better job opportunities and public want social development and economic growth.
