The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court on Friday, dismissed the petition filed against actor Dhanush on the claims that he had submitted false documents to the court in the case pertaining to his paternity.

Justice P. Rajamanickam, who had earlier reserved his orders in the case, dismissed the case filed by the couple, R. Kathiresan and K. Meenakshi from Melur who claimed Dhanush to be their son.

They had alleged that the birth, transfer and migration certificates submitted by the actor before the court were false. The Madurai Bench had earlier quashed the couple’s plea for maintenance from the actor.
