Neyveli Lignite Corporation Director (Human resources) Sarat Kumar Acharya has bagged the “Leadership Excellence Award” jointly instituted by the Jindal Global Business School and the Top Rankers Management Consultants.
A release from the NLC said the award was given away by Pritam Singh, a Padma Shri awardee and noted academic administrator, at the 16th National Management Summit on the topic “Impactful organization—Making it happen,” held in New Delhi on January 16 and 17.
This was the eighth award won by Mr Acharya ever since he took charge as the Director (HR) in the NLC. He firmly believed in the dictum that the “people are at the core of every business” and accordingly devised and implemented innovative people-oriented practices for the successful running of the organisation.
