The MSU has also decided to offer M.Sc. in Energy Sciences from this academic year as the rapidly growing power generation sector offers thousands of employment opportunities with attractive package.

Students who have B.Sc. degree in Physics, Chemistry and any BE degree (except Civil) could apply for joining this course.

Vice-Chancellor K. Baskar said that the MSU’s efforts to establish a Centre for International Relations and Centre for Foreign Languages to teach French, German, Japanese, Korean and Chinese had reached an advanced stage as the Embassies of these countries had expressed willingness to join hands with the university.
