Minister inspects Tuticorin temple

S.P. Shanmuganathan, Minister for Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, inspected the Sankara Rameshwarar Temple here on Saturday.

He appealed to the temple authorities to maintain cleanliness at the temple premises. He also enquired with the officials about the maintenance of accounts.

He said devotees should not undergo difficulties while offering prayers at the temple. Traders near the Temple submitted petitions seeking the Minister's intervention to fulfil some of their demands.

Rajendran, Executive Officer of temple, and other officials accompanied the Minister.
